1- If I run my a/c too long will it run out of Freon?
Freon (refrigerant) should never to be replaced. If it must be added, there is probably a leak that should be found.

2- What is a SEER?
Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. A rating to establish different efficiencies of equipment using power.

3- How long should my air conditioner last?
We've seen different information. We've learned about 10-12 years, depending on how they are used, size of system compared to the load of the structure, and the maintenance the system has received. 

4- Does a Electronic air cleaner really help with allergies?
We think so. Air Cleaners cleaner clean the air by filtering out millions of unseen microscopic particles that float in the air, including dust mold, plant spores, dust mites, dust mite debris  pet hair and pet dander.

5- How often should I check the furnace filter in the cooling season?
We suggest at least every 30 days. Some may need to replace and or clean every 2 weeks. Dust/lint on the filter reduces your systems sir moving efficiency. Clean filters will also help keep your house cleaner. 

6- If I run the fan on my furnace will help my allergies?
Possibly, If the right type filter is in place it can help take
Pollen and dust out of the air.  But, if you have a standard throw away type filter, they don't catch much of the small particles or much dust either.
7- Is a maintenance important for air conditioners?
Every, air conditioning system can lose up to 30% of their efficiency without maintenance. In fact just 1/100th of an inch of dirt on your indoor coil alone can increase your cooling bill by 5%. It is also a requirement of many manufactures and their warranty if continuant upon regular maintenance per their specifications.
8- What is the best way to come to a cool house?
On hot summer days, closing drapes or drawing shades can reduce incoming heat. For greater air conditioner control, install a programmable  or digital thermostat for time control and more accurate temperature settings.

9- What if my fan is blowing warm air?
Check to see if the breaker is tripped or fuse is blown if the outside unit is not running. If that doesn't work or if the outdoor unit is running, call 803-286-4720 or 803-366-7163 for service!
